Kimchi Life

Heyyy! I went to Korea! I took a lot of photos there. I would like to show you guys those photos while telling the story of Korean trip. It was placed from 8th to 13th of December in 2015. The trip was very cool. It was winter there. The air was very clean, the sky was blue and the clouds were white. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see a snow. The trip was for the broadcasting studies, with my new production team members.

I went to two Korean TV station and studios. Those are Arirang and KBS. I learned many things there. It was my first time to see the real sets, that can be used for news, drama, documentary and any other TV shows. I also made a short broadcasting news. My group had many NG cuts, and that what makes the shooting fun. I also went to Chosun University, which is the second biggest university or collage in Korea. There was a major of arts and design. They were having a show case of student’s work. All of them were amazing! I wish I can do as well as them on producing an “art”. This university has less basketball court than mine, so I’m not going there :p

I also went to two Korean ancient “parks”. The first one was Gyeongbokgung Palace. It was vary pig park, and it has many shows of traditional marches. You can learn a lot of things about Korea before they make “Korean Characters”. The second place was Korean Folk Village. You can learn many things about ancient Korea and Korean Culture. You would think that this place will be boring, but it’s not. There was a small amusement park, and you can play with your friends or family. This place is good for learning or either sightseeing.

You know what, there was one thing that makes me bored. It was the Kimchi. I use to like Kimchi before I come to Korea, but then I’m sick with it. Now I understand why  my Korean friends don’t like Kimchi that much. Every restaurant I went, there was always Kimchi on the table. No matter Korean restaurant or not. I went to Indian restaurant, the first dish that came out was Kimchi. I went to Japanese restaurant, Kimchi was on the table before I came. I went to Korean restaurant, the smell was so Kimchi, you know. Most restaurant in Korea, Kimchi is free. According to my Korean friends and the tour guide, most of Korean family have one bowl only for Kimchi.

However it still was a great trip. The best part of it was the people who I met. I met a lot of new people that gave me a lot of smiles and happiness. I went there with many seniors that I’ve never talk with. So, I could make a lot of new friends there. Other than that, we interviewed many people. There were many different kind of people with different characteristic. There were couples, families, friends and workers. There were many visitors from all over the world, such as from India, China, Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, America, etc. All people there were very nice. There was a guy who has a dog. He said the dog was lost and he found the dog. The dog was so clean, and looks so happy. I think he is a very nice person.

The Korean trip was awesome. I think going on a tour is more fun than going on a trip by your self, because you can make new friends. I wish I can go on tour soon. By the way, I brought a lot of Kimchi from there and I’m still sick of it. When will I eat them? Ow well, I’ll give all of them to my father :/
